New Home

A sunny, warm spring day, and the ground is workable – a splendid thing for a gardener!  Planting is my favourite garden activity.  I still get a mini rush of excitement every time I nestle a new ‘baby’ into its new home in my garden.   And so those Easter primulas all found homes in the ground this morning.  Their roots are settling into fresh soil, after having a cool drink of melted ice/snow water from my watering can.  They are enjoying dappled shade and hopefully making friends with their new neighbours!  [gallery ids="769,770,771"]
